Very little has changed since the 1780s when the Prince Regent,
soon to be King George IV, came to Brighton and decided that this
was the place to party. He built the Royal Pavilion for such a
purpose - and since then some of the hottest clubs and venues
outside London have been built here, on Britain's lively south
coast. Trendy, cool, and distinctly cosmopolitan, Brighton is
within an hour of London and easily accessed by train. It is extremely
popular with school groups for its beach, shopping and atmosphere.
