The reunification of Germany was felt no stronger than in Berlin
with the collapse of the Wall in 1989. Cold War wounds may be
hard to heal but the atmosphere in the capital today is lively,
multi-cultural and progressive.
An impressive third of the Berlin area is devoted to green parks,
lakes and forest, while the rest remains a stunning blend of modern
and war-torn architecture, eclectic museums and unbeatable entertainment
facilities. So for a good dose of culture and history, infinite
opportunities to practise your German, and plenty to do for all
ages, Berlin is a great place to be. |

The school is located on trendy Kastanienallee within walking
distance of Alexanderplatz and Museum Island and is a very stylish
new building in the former East Berlin. Kastanienallee is nicknamed
casting ally, because many fashion and film shootings taking place
here.
The school has its own campus, with 40 classrooms, 2 guesthouses,
a café and a restaurant. There is 24 hour security for
the campus and the school is very close to the train station and
opposite a tram stop. It is the only specialist language school
in Germany with a campus which is open all year round. Accommodation
from groups is possible in new rooms with excellent facilities,
on campus and in Berlin homestays. This school is great for school
groups because everyone can live and study in the same place.

”The school was super - the standard of teaching excellent
and the atmosphere in the school great. So yes, my German improved!
My host was a born & bred Berliner so she could tell me all
about the history of the city and spoke German to me all the time,
which was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there &
hope to go back soon.”
