School Trips Germany

Hamburg is the official home of Germany’s greatest number of millionaires. It owes a large part of its growth, and subsequent wealth, to its strategic position on three rivers, which now give the city the honour of having six times more bridges than Venice.

Add to this its quaint canals, vast urban green spaces and beautiful architecture, and Hamburg comes off as great place to learn the language and immerse yourself in the culture - and there's certainly lots of that.

Having survived two world wars and a devastating fire in the 19th century, Hamburgers are justifiably proud of their city, and today you'll see a friendly mix of students, workers and foreigners going about their daily lives and enjoying the huge variety of entertainment and eating out by night.

  :: The School
School Trips Germany

The school was founded in 1952 and is one of the largest language schools in Germany. Although it teaches 19 languages in total, its main focus is teaching German as a foreign language.

Right in the heart of Hamburg, in the peaceful old pedestrian zone known as 'Colonnaden', the school has an impressive 70 classrooms and even its own residence located in the same building.

All teachers are highly qualified, university graduates, and they pride themselves on teaching a particularly high quality German, as the language spoken in Hamburg is very clear and has no regional dialect.

School Trips Germany

”I enjoyed my few last-minute days of German in Hamburg. The school is very good and thanks for arranging things so quickly. I shall be coming to you again, though I don't know when, or which language! Thanks again.”
