You can't quite put your finger on it at first. But as you move
between plazas and make your way through the maze of narrow winding
streets, you notice the fruit - as much on the ground as in the
trees - and eventually recognise the sweet seductive smell as
that of orange blossom.
Set in the heart of Spain's southernmost province, Andalucia,
Seville is warm in climate, character and people. Just like the
Muslims some 1500 years ago, you can't help but fall under the
spell of this magical city where the rhythmic tapping of flamenco
heels and late afternoon cries from the plaza de toros become
familiar, enticing, sounds.
