PERSONAL ROBBERY
- If someone tries to take something from you it may
be better to let them take it rather than to get into
conflict and risk injury
- You can use reasonable force in self-defence. But you
cannot carry a weapon.
- Remember the attacker may be stronger than you. It
is often better just to shout loudly and run away
YOUR ACCOMMODATION
- Always lock doors and windows when going out. Even
if you are just going for a short time
- If you are staying in a student residence, make it
look like someone is in by leaving a light or a radio
on. In a host family, this is unnecessary.
- Draw your curtains after dark.

or open door, do not go in. Go to a group leader who will
call the police.

be getting home.
