Nice is the gateway to France's
stunning and fashionable Côte
d'Azur. Nestling between Monaco and
Cannes, and just 30km from the Italian
border, the city boasts an enviable
location on the Baie des Anges, and
has a dramatic backdrop of cliffs
sheltering a number of charming
French villages. Back on the seafront the Promenade
des Anglais is the place to see, and be seen,
while the beach is the place to simply soak up
the sun and watch the world go by. Throughout
the year Nice plays host to many festivals and
concerts, with plenty to keep you entertained
year-round...but it's also very French and a real
delight to explore for whatever reason you find
yourself here.
The
School
The school opened in 1984 and
is right in the heart of Nice, close
to the Old Town and Place Massena,
and just 5 minutes' walk from the
beach. It occupies the second floor
of a beautiful old bourgeois building,
and classrooms are spacious, well-lit
and air-conditioned so as to provide
an
optimum learning environment. Students can also
take advantage of free internet access at the
school. All teachers are native French speakers
and have been specially chosen for their university
qualifications, teaching experience and excellent
inter-personal skills.
