Built by Peter the Great in
1703 to emulate European capitals,
St Petersburg is one of Russia's most
beautiful cities. It is also one of
its most historical. The storming
of the Winter Palace in 1917 marked
the start of the Revolution, and the
very changes to the citys name
over the
last century reflect key periods in Russian history.
Today St Petersburg is a unique and atmospheric
blend of styles, but it will always be the city
of the Tsars, its sense of glory, decadence and
intrigue never quite forgotten as you dream of
its departed aristocrats, writers and villains
The School
This school has been teaching Russian
for all needs and levels since 1992.
It is very centrally located, close
to Ligovsky Prospekt metro station,
and has many bars, restaurants and
theatres within walking distance.
The administration and classrooms
are all located on the 4th floor and
facilities
include 15 classrooms, a library with a large
choice of Russian newspapers and a cafeteria with
freshly prepared hot and cold meals. The school
is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and
offers PC work stations and free internet access
to all students. It has certainly grown over the
years but it has not lost its commitment to quality
and student care.

Feedback
Organization
of the school is great - very good
lesson plans, with teachers able to
introduce all necessary materials
in a very informal atmosphere. The
staff did everything possible to accommodate
us in every aspect of our stay. Time
spent with Russian families was definitely
a highlight of my Russian experience.
