You can't quite put your finger
on it at first. But as you move between
plazas and make your way through the
maze of narrow winding streets, you
notice the fruit - as much on the
ground as in the trees - and eventually
recognise the sweet seductive smell
as that of orange blossom. Set in
the
heart of Spain's southernmost province, Andalucia,
Seville is warm in climate, character and people.
Just like the Muslims some 1500 years ago, you
can't help but fall under the spell of this magical
city where the rhythmic tapping of flamenco heels
and late afternoon cries from the plaza de toros
become familiar, enticing, sounds.
The
School
The school is located in an
attractive Andalusian building in
the heart of Seville. Covering four
floors, it provides an ideal learning
environment with plenty of space and
natural light. For many years students
have been enjoying first class facilities
including 30 air-conditioned
classrooms, a multimedia centre, library and bookshop
- and there's even a sun terrace with loungers
to relax on afterwards. All teachers are university
qualified and place emphasis on listening comprehension
and oral expression, to help students think in
Spanish rather than just repeat set phrases. Putting
yourself in real-life situations in class means
it won't be long before you're out there doing
it yourself!

Feedback
My week in Seville and the arrangements
made by Cactus were excellent. My
family were very relaxed and hospitable.
The teacher did a very professional
job and the whole environment was
a great introduction to Spanish culture.
It is definitely something Id
like to repeat and surely something
I will recommend enthusiastically!"
