Approximately half way down
Spain's Mediterranean coast lies Valencia,
its third largest city. Blessed with
a glorious climate, international
acclaim on the footie circuit and
fun-loving inhabitants (who can blame
them with such proximity to the beach),
this place certainly knows how to
throw a
good party: the literal explosion of Las Fallas
festival, in March, is the culmination of them
all. And, being the birthplace of Spain's most
famous dish, paella, it could also be said that
the valencianos know how to cook. So why is the
city not completely beseiged by tourists, like
so many other parts of Spain? Ours is not to reason
why - ours is simply to sit back and enjoy it,
and tell you that Valencia makes a great destination
to learn Spanish.
The
School
This school is brand new and
is located right in the heart of Valencia,
just 20 mins from the beach by bus.
It is also close to a lovely park
which was once the bed of the River
Turia. It occupies the first floor
of a modern building and has 7 classrooms,
a fully equipped multi-media room,
a
teachers' room, secretary and meeting area. Facilities
and tuition are of a very high standard here,
with a strong team of fully qualified, and native
speaker, teachers. Outside class students can
enjoy a full programme of activities to help them
make the most of life in this wonderful Mediterranean
city.
Client
Feedback
Meeting and socialising with
the other students was brilliant.
The beach was a great place to hang
out. The city centre is beautiful
in both the daytime and evening. Overall
I had a great time - much better than
expected!" Andy White
