London. Who hasn't seen images of
the bright red double decker buses,
the Beefeaters at Buckingham Palace,
Big Ben overlooking the Thames, and
wondered what it's really all about?
It's grand and glamourous for one,
with gorgeous expanses of park, superb
Victorian architecture, more
galleries than can
be listed and a glitzy restaurant and theatre
land to rival that of New York and Paris. But
in one of the oldest industrial and imperial cities
of the world, you also have to expect crowds,
pollution and expense. Somehow it's the bustle
that shows you London at its best though: street
markets, buskers, old book and antique sellers
form a fusion of cultures and characters that
will capture a little piece of your heart.
The
School
The school boasts three branches
in central London, and for school
groups we use their Trafalgar Square
location. Easily accessible by bus
and tube, and right on the doorstep
of first class entertainment and shopping
facilities, this school is equipped
with modern and comfortable facilities.
Students can enjoy the use of free high speed
internet, a fully stocked library, a cafeteria
where they can purchase sandwiches and beverages
in break time, and a student lounge where they
can relax with friends and watch DVDs or read
magazines in comfort. As well as providing fully
qualified native speaker teachers, the school
offers a full and friendly student support service
to help students adapt to busy but exciting London
life.
